President Joe Biden is set to travel to California this coming week to hold campaign events and meet with Silicon Valley executives. Microsoft’s Chief Technology Officer Kevin Scott will host one of the events. The president will meet with tech investors Dan Kalafatas, Hadley Mullin, Steve Silberstein, and Mark Robinson. California Governor Gavin Newsom will also be in attendance.
First Lady Jill Biden was recently in the San Francisco area. She spoke this past week at the 30th anniversary of the Giffords Law Center regarding gun control legislation. The first lady stated, “I’ve visited red states and blue states, and I’ve found that the common values that unite us are deeper than our divisions.”
